Dear Sir,
I would like you to know about me as your client first that you might more especially understand and enjoy what I have to say about your business and employees at your location on U.S. 90 in Marianna, Florida.
I have served in the Law Enforcement field since 1979 having served 3 times in the position of Chief of Police for various Police Agencies. As a Police Manager I was always concerned with Officer and Public Safety while attempting to save a few dollars on the Police budget.
At any rate over the years it has become more and more difficult to find service technicians to honestly see after my Police fleet of Vehicles keeping them in good service so we could always make the calls for assistance we received, and make the Police Cruisers last another year or two longer thus saving the tax payers a few bucks in the process.
So I do have many years of personally and professionally dealing with lube and small repair shops, and I never came across one like your till today.
So now that you know a little about me I want you to know what happened to me while I was at you store in Marianna, Florida today.
Upon my arrival I was greeted by the manager who was professional, polite, and handled my business needs in a timely manor, while showing and recommending me to purchase many items and services that you offer. In short I went to get an oil change for I guess about 25.00 dollars or so, and ended
up spending 247.00 dollars, what a salesman, and gentleman to boot.
The Managers assistants were both of high caliber, polite, friendly, answered all my 101 questions, and were timely also.
I think it is also worth mentioning that the Manager somehow forget to put in my air vale that regulates the air intake during all of my many questions that I was asking him. At any rate I had left the shop but had an occasion to come back to ask still yet another question of him, and wouldn't you know it, the manager was looking for me to replace the air vale that he had forgotten.
Well how easy would it have been for him not to step up to the plate and admit his mistake. Well he is an honest man and he did admit his mistake and fixed it immediately. This man is a great credit to American Lube and he represents you well.
The manager’s assistants are hard working, honest, knowledgeable, polite, friendly, an asset to you and you business, and dependable to get the job done. My car has gone from 27.8 mpg to a maximum of 31.9 mpg. A grand total increase of 4.1 mpg, just as they reasonably estimated it would be.
I used a conservative figure when calculating my savings on fuel over the next three month period, and came up with an estimated 30.00 dollars which more than pays for my oil change, so it’s a great value, not to mention the extension in engine life. An added plus is the enjoyable time I spend with your employees, and the final bonus is I have a quality professional examining my car on the top and bottom who will alert me to any observed deficiencies noted that I might have the opportunity to make the needed repairs ensuring me of many safe miles of travel for my family and I.
I felt like I was among family at your store. Do you have any idea how rare that is in the American Business world today? If you could duplicate the Marianna, Florida Manager and his Staff's business approach you could double the size of your company in quick order. Maybe you should personally go by and see them in action. It’s like the 1930’s Walton's from Walton’s
Mountain back when folks really cared one for the other.
If you ever do a commercial, I want to be in it for you.
I could go on and on about your staff. In short I trust them and trust don’t come fast or cheap. I will be back to do business with you again. I spent most of my day bragging on them to family and friends. I am sure my family and friends will now start coming to do their business with you.
It is not easy to gain my trust and respect, but your staff has done the job.
I am now retired, but if I were in the saddle again I would
refer my fleet to American LubeFast. Please write back to me to let
me know that you are in receipt of my correspondence, and please place a copy of this in each mans personnel records.
NOTE: The Store’s General Manager Assistant was not in the day I was at your Store originally, however I have since had the great opportunity to speak with Mr. White who was
simply outstanding, Polite, Professional, & Courteous toward me, and he has furthered my commitment to do business with you. I wonder to my self how do you get such outstanding employees?
One more thing about Mr. White he is a company man for sure, and desires to move up in management and I think you should take a hard look at him for consideration in future promotions.
I have written the names of the Store Management and Staff that they might be looked upon with Honor by the Owner, President and Corporate peers, as it is well deserved and earned.
STORE GENERAL MANAGER: GABE DOVER
STORE GENERAL MANAGER ASSISTANT: DWAYNE W. WHITE
STAFF MEMBER: MICHAEL BAXLEY
