Run vehicle for approximately two minutes on the flush with old power steering fluid turning steering wheel to create flow of detergent through system
Exchange fluid with new semi-synthetic fluid to provide proper lubrication and cooling to vital moving parts
Inspect power steering system for leaks
Road test vehicle for proper operation of power steering

This service should be performed every 40,000 km / 24,000 miles or every 24 months. Your vehicle should be inspected and serviced every three months to ensure that the power steering system is functioning properly. Keep in mind that although the power steering may be working properly and not causing any concern it may have a fluid leak that could cause severe damage if not tended to.
